Learn to decorate Easter eggs with beautiful golden applique made of straw!

This beautiful delicate technique for decorating eggs is rarely done as it requires a lot of preparation and diligence. But, the technique is very simple and -if using natural dyes- completely natural and non-toxic. Straw pieces from rye and wheat stalks will be prepared for you. Come and see how to make them form a timeless pattern on your egg! 

Parania Sozanski is an accomplished artisan with decades of experience making straw applique pysanky, as well as traditional pysanky. Her works can be found in museums around the world, most notably in the Pysanka Museum, in Kolomiya, and in private colllections. She will be teaching this beautiful delicate art with Myroslava Boikiv (former director of the Pysanka Museum and straw artist). Truly a special opportunity! Not to be missed.
