Offering introduction to hand embroidery classes as a fall course. Learn the most common basic stitches and how to work them optimally to create simple pieces that delight and satisfy you, in just a few weeks. Build a solid foundation to work towards bigger projects in the future.

All materials will be included, but you are encouraged to bring your own needle, and kit if you have one (scissors, hoop, etc.).
You will receive handouts, and work on linen and cotton with cotton DMC embroidery floss.
You'll learn several different stitches and learn to follow patterns and plan your work.  It'll be fun! 

$140-120 sliding scale; student rate: $100.
