Pysanka Workshops

Register now for our pysanka workshop!

pysanky natural dye workshop

Learn how to make beautiful pysanky: easter eggs in the traditional Ukrainian style. Wow your friends with your skills and beautiful creations.
Experienced instructors will guide you through all the steps of transforming a plain egg into a work of art. There will also be plenty of helpers on hand to give tips, extra support, etc., maybe even provide some musical entertainment…

______________

Beginners welcome.
Limit 25 people per class.
Register by emailing kosa.kolektiv@gmail.com (include which sessions you plan to attend)
Materials will be provided (eggs, stylus, dyes, wax…) Additional materials and kits will be on sale to take home. Just bring a light pencil, something to take your creation home with you (an old tea tin or egg carton will work) and maybe… a pair of sunglasses…we’ll explain later.

$20 for a class (at St. Vladimir Institute)

You are welcome to come to more than one session but please pre-register as spaces are limited.

Proceeds from 2014 will go to support Dzherelo Centres for people living with disabilities in Ukraine. To learn more about Dzherelo, visit : http://www.chornobyl.ca/Dzherelo_Centre.html
