Didukh is a special sheaf of wheat or grain that is woven to stand like a tree. Didukhy are prepared in each Ukrainian home around Christmastime, and kept til the beginning of Lent (Maslyanka). They are an integral part of the holidays- holding a place of honour at the family holiday table.
